Andrew Kenny

30 year old photographer from Mildura (VIC), Australia.

My passion for photography started at the age of 15,
when I first started taking photos of my mates at our local motorcycle club races.

Nowadays, I have 10+ years experience in motorsport, landscapes, local sport and events photography. While still being open to new experiences within the photography world and a keen interest to work my way into multiple fields.

What started as a hobby has slowly grown into a small running business. It began as a kid, picking up my mums camera after being unable to join the boys on the motorbike track. One race led into the other and now nearly 15 years later i’ve been lucky enough to experience events such as Hattah Desert Race, Speedway and MX. Also In line with my current profession as a contract spray operator in the farming industry, opportunities have led into landscape and farm machinery photography along the way.

I have always had a real passion for motorsport. Especially after growing up on a family farm with two older brothers, but one race left my shoulder in pieces and a character building scar across my chin. Now I think i’m best kept behind the camera lens, working my magic to make the riders look as good as possible.

A future photography aspiration is definitely the Finke race in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. A weeks experience after adding up the driving, camping and effort to get out in the dust. Outside of Australia, America would be my top bucket list photography experience, in particular the Supercross and Motocross experiences. Hopefully one year soon I make these aspirations a reality and you can all enjoy the action shots it will entail.
